Filipino World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) fans should be bracing themselves for Dave Michael Bautista, more popularly known in the wrestling arena as Batista, as he and other ring superstars headline the WWE SmackDown! Survivor Series on Oct. 21 and 22 at the Araneta Coliseum.
The WWE SmackDown! Survivor Series Tour kicks off with the arrival of Batista in Manila on Sept. 7.
After establishing a series of victories though squash matches, he went on to become one-half of the World Tag Team Champions in 2003, together with Triple H and Randy Orton. In fact, Batista is the only wrestler to defend the WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship at both a RAW and a Smackdown! event in the same year.
