Manny Pacquiao Knocks Out Ricky Hatton in 2nd Round
Top Filipino boxer Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao easily defeated Ricky "Hitman" Hatton of Great Britain at their sold out boxing match in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Manny Pacquiao dealt Ricky Hatton the knock out punch at the closing of the 2nd round. Referee Kenny Bayless took one look at Hatton and declared the fight over at 2:59 of the second round.
“I didn’t have to count,” Bayless said.
Hatton laid on the canvas for several minutes while doctors tended to him before finally leaving the ring with a wry smile on his face. He was taken to a local hospital for a precautionary brain scan.
Pacquiao connected 73 of his 127 punches while Hatton could only connect 18 of 78 punches. Manny was not only quicker but was also stronger than Hatton. Ricky Hatton had to shave and lose a lot of pounds going to the fight and this may have caused his weakness vs the pound for pound punches that Pacquiao delivered.
Pacquiao had the perfect game plan for Hatton, evading his bullying rushes and then picking him apart with counter punches. The performance was even more stunning because Hatton had lost only once and has been a world-class fighter for years
The boxing purse for both figthers is a guranteed $12 million for Manny Pacquiao and $8million for Hatton of the UK. Both boxers will also receive a percentage of the proceeds from pay-per-view.
The boxing crowd at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas was shocked to still quiet after Pacquiao KO’d Hatton in the 2nd. With this latest boxing win, there will be huge pressure on both Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao to finally battleeach other in the boxing ring. But that will have to wait, for now, the Philippines’ best boxer will return to his home turf to celebrate his latest victory with the Filipino country.
